Fulfilment pricing that fits your business. Not someone else's.

There's no single number we can put here that would be right for every brand. Your fulfilment cost depends on what you sell, how heavy your parcels are, and where in the world your customers live. So instead of a rate card, we give you a conversation.

What we can tell you now: our pricing is built from a fixed monthly platform fee plus usage-based charges that scale with your orders. No setup fees. No integration charges. No exit penalties. The rest is specific to you, and we'll show you exactly what it looks like before you commit to anything.

WHY IT MATTERS

You know your number before committing to anything

This is what separates real fulfilment pricing from a rate card that looks clean on a page but falls apart the moment it meets your actual business.

1. Inbound receiving

Charged when your stock arrives at one of our fulfilment centres. Covers unloading, inventory check-in, barcode scanning, and storage allocation. Average check-in time is 48 hours from delivery.

2. Inventory storage

Billed weekly based on the space your stock occupies.

Faster-moving SKUs cost less because they spend less time on the shelf.

We'll flag slow-moving stock proactively so you can act before it inflates your bill.

Storage rates vary by warehouse country, reflecting local operating costs.

Storage type UK (indicative) EU (indicative) US (indicative)
Shelf storage £1–2 per week €1–2 per week $1–2 per week
Pallet storage £2.5–5 per week €3–7 per week $6–8 per week

3. Pick & pack

The per-order cost of locating, packing, and labelling each shipment. This is one of the most variable components of your eCommerce fulfilment cost, driven by three things: what you sell, how heavy your orders are, and how complex the packing process is.

Pick and pack costs UK and internationally are shaped by:

Product category Indicative pick & pack range (1-item order) UK Indicative pick & pack range (1-item order) EU Indicative pick & pack range (1-item order) US Why it varies
Small / standard (accessories, books) £0.6–0.9 €0.6–0.9 $0.8–1 Fast to pick, straightforward packing
Medium / fragile (homewares, electronics, glass) £1–2 €1–2 $1.1–2.1 Additional handling time and care required
Large / bulky (sports equipment, furniture parts) £2–6 €2–6 $4–10 More physical effort, larger packaging
Subscription / kitted orders £1–2 €1–2 $1.1–2.1 Multiple items, specific assembly instructions
Alcohol / regulated goods £1–3 €1–3 $1.1–3 Compliance checks, specialist handling
Each additional item in a multi-item order carries an incremental pick fee on top of the base per-order rate. Standard packaging materials are included. Branded packaging and custom inserts are available as add-ons.

4. Carrier shipping

We pass on bulk-negotiated rates from DHL, Royal Mail, DPD, Parcelforce, UPS, USPS, FedEx, and 15+ international carriers. Your final shipping cost depends on parcel weight, dimensions, and destination zone.

We work with you to choose the right carrier for each destination based on your product's value and the service level your customers expect. Where in the world your customers are shapes this number significantly.

Destination zone Carrier options
UK domesticRoyal Mail, DPD, Parcelforce, Hermes
Western EuropeDHL, DPD, local last-mile
Eastern EuropeDHL, local carriers
USA (East Coast)USPS, UPS, FedEx
USA (West Coast)USPS, UPS, FedEx
CanadaCanada Post, UPS
Asia PacificDHL, local partners
Rest of WorldDHL, FedEx
If 70–80% of your US customers are on the West Coast, we'll recommend a California warehouse, which cuts transit times and reduces shipping costs. Warehouse location is part of the consultative process, not an afterthought.

5. Value-added services (optional)

You only pay for these if you use them. All are itemised separately on your invoice.

Service When you'd use it
Returns processing Brands with return rates above ~2%
Kitting and assembly Subscription boxes, bundle packs, gift sets
Custom packaging Branded unboxing experience
Branded inserts Flyers, discount cards, thank-you notes
Delivery loss protection High-value goods or international shipping

Pricing FAQs

How much does Gonini cost?

Gonini pricing is fully bespoke your monthly bill depends on what you sell, how heavy your orders are, and where in the world your customers are. It starts with a flat monthly platform subscription, plus per-order fulfilment charges that vary by product category, weight band, and destination region. The best way to see your number is to request a custom quote. We'll have a costed proposal in your inbox within 48 hours.

Why don't you publish a fixed price list?

Because a fixed price list would either be wrong for most people or misleading for everyone. The cost of fulfilling a lightweight clothing order to Birmingham is genuinely different from a heavy electronics order to Los Angeles, different warehouse, different labour rate, different carrier, different everything. Rather than publish a number that doesn't fit your business, we'd rather show you a number that does. That's the consultative model.

What is fulfilment pricing made up of?

Your fulfilment service pricing is built from five components: a platform subscription, inbound receiving, inventory storage, pick & pack, carrier shipping, and any optional value-added services you use. Each component is explained in detail on this page. The ranges vary by product category, parcel weight, and warehouse country, the three variables that move the number the most.

Are there setup or integration fees?

No. We don't charge for setup, onboarding, or any of our 30+ platform integrations. The first thing you'll pay is your first month's platform subscription, and only after your stock is checked in and orders are flowing.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No. Our subscription is month-to-month. You can cancel any time without exit fees or penalties. We earn your business every month, not by locking you in.

What's the minimum order volume?

100 orders per month. Below that, the unit economics don't work for either side, and you'd typically be better off self-fulfilling. Most brands cross this threshold around the time they start questioning whether they should outsource.

How do product category and parcel weight affect my quote?

They're the two biggest variables in your per-order cost. Heavier parcels take more time and cost more to ship. More complex products, fragile items, regulated goods like alcohol, and subscription kits require additional handling time at the pick and pack stage. We'll walk through your specific SKU profile when we build your quote.

Does pricing vary by country?

Yes. Warehouse labour rates differ across the UK, EU, and US, which means storage and pick & pack costs vary by region. Shipping rates vary, as well, based on destination zone and carrier. If your customer base is concentrated in a particular geography, say, 70–80% on the US West Coast, we'll factor that into which warehouse we recommend, which reduces both your transit times and your shipping costs.

How does Gonini fulfilment pricing compare to ShipBob and Huboo?

All three are quote-based because fulfilment pricing is genuinely bespoke. Huboo's published invoice minimum is £1,000/month; ShipBob typically suits brands at 400+ orders/month. Our entry point is lower, and our model is explicitly consultative. We build your quote around your product type, weight profile, and destination mix rather than applying a standard rate. Happy to walk through your specific case.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes. Per-order charges decrease as your monthly volume grows. Brands at our Scale tier (2,500+ orders/month) typically see significantly lower per-order fulfilment costs than Starter tier brands. Enterprise pricing at 10,000+ orders/month is fully custom.

How quickly can I get a quote?

Same day if you book a call. We'll ask about your monthly orders, product categories, average parcel weight, and where your customers are. A fully costed proposal will be in your inbox within 48 hours.

Ready to see your number?

Tell us a few things about your business, and we'll build a costed proposal around your actual product profile, weight bands, and shipping destinations. No generic rate card. No call required to get a quote, though we're happy to talk if you want to.
